Places inland near Gandia
Any recommendations for villages to visit inland near Gandia . 20/30 minutes away.
Maybe somewhere where there’s a walk involved also . Nothing too strenuous 😊
There are hundreds of places, just drive and explore. We've found some real gems, and lovely castles that way.
If you want somewhere to start:
Xativa is a gorgeous old town, rich in history, a lovely paseo and a stunning castle. You can take the tourist train up to the castle.(Check the times of the tourist train before and don't go when it is really hot as the castle is set up on the hill/mountain).
The little spa town of Anna has lots of pretty washhouses and fountains, and then on the outskirts waterfalls and lots of lovely walking trails. Stop at the Tourist office for a map as you won't find many of them without one. (Again, check the opening times online first).
A lot of the little villages are really interesting and have walks signposted from them. Otos for example has lots of sundials throughout the town which our guests love going in search of.
