I qualify for my UK State Pension on 04/08/2023. I'm resident in Spain. Am I entitled to a Form S1 on that date?

Many thanks in advance,

H

It keeps leaving this out

NHS Overseas Healthcare Services
Telephone: +44 (0)191 218 1999
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Saturday, 9am to 3pm

How to get an S1 form

If you have a UK State Pension or another qualifying exportable benefit, you must request an application form by phone from the Overseas Healthcare Services (see contact details above). This is part of the NHS Business Services Authority (BSA).

Try again.

As far as the state pension itself is concerned, don't forget you have to apply for it.

I printed the application form off the internet about two months before my pension was due, filled it out and posted it back to the UK. There's about five or six pages, with quite a bit of detail required, depending on your work history and where you've lived. I think I also had to send in my birth certificate and a decree nisi certificate.

It all went smoothly and my pension is now paid into my Spanish bank account every four weeks. The exchange rate used is very fair.
