Hi I'm new to the gandia forum myself and my husband would like to spend some of the Winter there

Preferably just inland no more then 20 mins in a car .A pretty village or town with supermarkets bars and resturants. I've been looking at pego villalonga, ador, l'atzubia,it would be nice to be able to walk from one village to another if possible. All info would be appreciated plan is to come out middle of December.

We live in Adsubia and love it. It has a very cosmopolitan community, a big mix of nationalities and very nice local people. Two bars, one restaurant, one corner shop, a bakery, a GP surgery and very good pharmacy.

You'd need a car to get to Pego for banks, supermarkets, health centre, sports. Nearest beach is Deveses, 15 mins drive. Nice walks up the Gallinera Valley and Marajal nature reserve. Oliva 15 mins drive, Denia 25 mins, Javea 35 mins.

Given your desire to be able to walk from one village to another, I would say that Ador is your best bet with the easy access to Palma de Gandia.

The other option is Bellreguard, Palmera or l'Alqueria de la Comtessa. The downside to these is that they are on the N332, 50 metres back they are pleasant enough though. In fact it's not out of the way to walk to Gandia too. Much closer to the beach as well if that makes a difference.

Hi, I have a Villa at Beniarjo less than 10 minutes drive from Gandia, beautiful little town with a few bars, restaurant, bank, food stores, butchers, pharmacy, healthcare centre, Vets, public swimming pool, fuel Station, and just a few minutes from Gandia.
