Hi I'm living in Puerto de Sagunto and want to move as it's been difficult making friends here and I'm looking for a more cosmopolitan area, not much going on here unless I go into Valencia. I'm in my 60s and live alone, Independent and fairly outgoing. I like what I've seen in Gandia.

I'd love some input as to what it's like living here and what's going on. I'm not a big party animal. Interested in women's group, yoga, meditation, animals, possibly volunteering, coffee mornings, lunches, chatting and having a laugh. Thank you in advance ☺️

Hi Mazrai! Happy New Year!

I’m looking to move to Gandia too in the near future and would like to know what life is like. I’ve been living in Valencia for the last year which I love but rent is getting really expensive and I work every few wks in UK so looking for something a bit cheaper since not there all the time. I’ll be back in Valencia on 15th and was going to stay a night or 2 to suss out what place is like and where I’d like to live. I know it’s very Spanish and not a huge British expat community which I quite like the idea of. I’ve just requested to join Gandia grapevine too for more info. Maybe we could meet up for a coffee or a vino in near future as I won’t know anyone either and looking to make friends too!

Best wishes for 2020

Claire

Hi Claire

Thank you for you lovely message.  Sorry for the delay in replying but I've been in Bristol visiting my daughter and my new phone wouldn't pick up roaming so I'm only just catching up with things.

Now I'm back I'm going to start exploring again. I'd love to meet up for coffee and a chat :)

Regards

Maz

Hi Maz!

Nice to hear from you! How are you? Glad to be back in Spain or mixed emotions leaving family? I hope not, it’s always sad saying goodbye.

I was through in Gandia last week for the first time. It was the tail end of the storm so wasn’t a great day but I had put off seeing this great atico with beautiful views for 3 days and was really hoping to get but the landlord won’t rent with me and my medium size dog unfortunately even though agent said owner had a dog herself! There’s no rush, I have till June really but would like to move earlier so will keep looking for the right one. I liked it better than I thought in a short time and want to explore it more.

I’m off to UK to work for 15 days on Monday so if you’re through in Valencia or want to meet in Gandia? let me know.

Regards

Clsire
