Hi

Does anyone know of someone who is able to service/repair a gas boiler in Alicante city. We would be happy to pay a call out charge.

Thanks

Cady

Hi Cady,

We have mains gas hot water boiler in Alicante city.

On our Iberdrola gas bill we have gas maintenance as part of bill.
Have you got that?

Even if you do not have the maintenance contract,  phone Iberdrola Gas and ask them to give you details of service technician.
Here is 24/7 contact number 900 225 235     iberdrola.es

Hope this helps

Maria

Hi Maria

We do not have gas mains we use gas balloons so it is the unit that we want to get serviced.

Do ibidrola speak English. I’m learning Spanish but I don’t think I would be able to explain the problem in Spanish just yet.

Hi Cady,

I looked on website.  You can change the language.

From Spain phone 900 322 044 says it’s the English

speaking line.    Hope you find someone.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

In most cases the technician will tell you that your boiler is old enough to be replaced for a new one. The most sensible part is a rubber membrane triggering the gas inlet as the water starts to flow. This membrane (costs less than 1,-) usually gets worn out after 3-4 years of use. A good fontanero should know about it and replace this part within 1 hr. max. for around 40,-
