We came to live in GA in January, and signed up in their new offices in the centre, after a recommendation from our estate agent.
They came to do the installation within a few days. The average speed of wifi is 50mb/sec, some times climbing to 100mbs. Never needed them since. Recommended.

I am with Avatel though originally with Grannet who became Flexicable and now Avatel. On installation of my new Smart TV earlier this year I lost my internet connection. I called the shop but didn’t feel they understood how isolated I feel without the ability to be in touch with the outside world so I went to the office. They did advise however that I would need a new router which would be delivered in two days ie after the weekend. Still had no WiFi. On Saturday afternoon an Avatel worker arrived at my door with a new router and re-established my WiFi connection. No complaints. However, overnight on 27/28 September I woke to find no WiFi connection. Phoned to report the issue (morning of 28th). Nothing happened on 28th. Phoned again on the morning of 29th and requested they give me a time for when someone will be coming. First customer care assistant gave me a phone number for the technical team and told me to WhatsApp them as they won’t answer the phone! I phoned again and spoke to a different assistant who contacted the technical department for me and told me they would arrive around 3pm. At 3.15 he arrived, again with a new router which he swapped out and took away the small booster that I had(?) as he advised that with the new router it wasn’t required. I got a new WiFi link and so far no problems. A long winded answer but my general response is that I have no complaints with the products provided and they have been responsive when I needed them however it is not like in the UK where many issues are handled same day or even at weekends. Avatel do not work weekends. My costs have gone down slightly. Generally I am happy with my fibre speed but I have friends who are not at all happy with Avatel. Guess it is down to personal experience.
