My mother has passed away in Guardamar and I need to rehome her 3 pet cats. My brother and I live in the UK and both have dogs who are not cat friendly. We're flying over soon and need to find a sanctuary / rescue centre that we can drop them off at. Do these kind of places exist in Spain like they do in the UK? Thanks.

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about your Mumcpassing away.
If you Google "Animal rescue centres costa blanca " a whole host will come up.
The ones that I know of around Guardamar are:
K9 Rescue
Big Reds Animal Rescue
Cats ans Dogs Aid
Pets In Spain
You could also contact Fab Cattery and The Cats Whiskers Cattery in Dolores as they may be able to help.
