Try spraying the nest with washing up liquid in water.

It will suffocate the wasps but won't affect anything else.

Another method is to use permethrin garden insect powder.

It will kill the wasps but not affect you, your plants , pets or children.

Another way is to use a long stick like a bamboo pole about 3 metres long and just destroy the nest with the stick.

All of these methods are best applied in the early morning while it's still dark and the wasps haven't yet woken up!

Assuming this is just the usual small size outdoor nest, go and buy a can of anti Avispa. Spray from the recommended distance, instant results.

If, alternatively, you are unfortunate enough to have a nest in your walls or roof, or it is seriously large, then you do need professional help. Looking online, they all seem to be franchises from some distance away and all Spanish speaking. You could try Fog Off mosquito control. Who are in principle an English operated franchise, but will deal with insect problems. Obvious website.
