Who’s speaking for you - it’s certainly not me..?!

I was referring to the spat between Alex/Nicola/Ray where they were arguing amongst themselves - I don’t want to block the thread as I want to be kept informed of the initial topic regarding unscrupulous builders - not in house fighting amongst fellow, very helpful, forum members!

Hi Jim,

"I was going to agree wholeheartedly with Ray, Nicola and Simon, and tell Kim that recommendations on their own aren't enough, and that warnings should also be given about the bad traders."

Why would you assume that I'd disagree with giving warnings about bad traders?  I was also disappointed that Alex locked the thread because I was going to follow up on Nicola's suggestion to "name names" and ask RayD to do precisely that.  The problem with RayD's constant complaining about 'Brit cowboys' is that he DOESN'T name names.  Don't you think it would be useful if he did?  Otherwise, all Brits get tarred with the same brush, including John Cox, the pool man you mentioned, as well as the good British traders I've employed.

Kind regards,

Kim

So after 36 reples to the Original Poster's warning, are we any further forward, apart from the usual arguments.  I feel quite sad for Alex.

Well said!  Some members appear to have forgotten that it's not that long since Alex lost his Mum and yet he has continued management of this forum and the Talk Quesada forum seamlessly.  Fortunately, you've only got to look at the Helpful votes on this thread to see there are many members who remain supportive of Alex's hard work.

Kind regards,

Kim

Absolutely, but still they go on and on.  Such a shame. Maybe some people take the forum for granted.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

I have only one to say, & I´m not sure, but in most  Spanish towns from the coast to inland, towns, exist:

(my opinion only, but through observation) Some will see & some will encounter.

Ah, there we go - the only thing I'm surprised at, Nicola, is that you didn't join in sooner, LOL!
