from Alicante Airport to Guardamar - options ?

Hi everyone. It convenient booking a taxi transfer when your are a couple or even better there is 4 of you but... I travelling on my own on Monday on an EZY flight that (SHOULD) land a 18.20hrs and I see that there are options on how to get home. But what is the most convenient and on the cheap ?

I could take the 20:00hrs direct bus from the Airport to Torrevieja (does it stop at the bus station there?) and then a taxi to Guardamar

OR

from the airport I could take the bus to Alicante , walk to the bus station and then get on the bus to Guardamar.

How busy is the bus from the Airport to Guardamar of the 20:00 and the 20:00 hours ? Will I have a fight getting on to those two services ?

The direct bus at 20:00 from airport to Torrevieja will not stop anywhere en-route, it goes straight to Torrevieja, no stops en-route whatsoever. Same as when going in the opposite direction....

I wouldn’t take up Fouad’s offer as, apart from the cost, i doubt he is a registered taxi and as such will be operating illegally. Far better, and cheaper, to get a taxi or lift off a friend or neighbour, to Torrevieja and board the bus there

Thank's for your replies so far.

I m not trying to get a lift ; but if someone is travelling in my direction &wants to share the cost of a 50euro taxi drive.. he can DM.

I know the danger of taking a lift in an unlicensed car so well done for bringing this up to the attention of other forum readers.

I didn't get the answers to my questions but I hope they will be coming.

This business of airport/torrevejia coach service without an onroute stop in a large urban centre like Guardamar, is disappointing but I will still happily live with it as GdS is worth it!

You could get the bus to Alicante bus station and then the bus from there to Guardamar which leaves at 20:00 and arrives at Guardamar at 20:50 look at the costa azul app which you can download

Get the bus to the airport€3.75 then the bus to Guardamar €3.75 so Bargain for €€7.50

Unfortunately we pick our friends up at 11am as would of taken you if same time.

Just for information,

The number c6 to and from the airport is only 95 cents if you are over 65 . just show your passport to prove your age .I have done it many times 🙄🙄. John

Journey went well. C6 to alicante bus station and then coach to Guardamar from platform 18. I was home within 2hrs for less than 8euros.
