Hi,

So glad I found this forum. I know it's early days but I finally decided on a lifestyle change. I am moving over on my own with my dog and maybe a horse but that all depends on transporters costs. I am looking to make new friends and am slowly learning Spanish online. Firstly I wondered if anyone can recommend a reputable English speaking lawyer. I am an active wheelchair user and need to know that contrimar who are developing and building my property are complying with Spanish law. I think I am in panic mode. I only saw one complaint on trust pilot but it has unnerved me a bit. It would be reassuring to hear from any other residents on this development. I did notice some people had moved in already.

Secondly has anyone brought their dog and would anyone recommend the best way to do this. I can drive an automatic car and am willing to drive via boat to bilboa.

Thirdly is it possible in Spain to purchase a new car on a 3 yr lease like in England. I have heard 2ND hand cars are over priced. I am on the lookout in England to get a left hand drive and get a bargain but I need something very reliable to drive down on my own.

I hope I have not posted too many questions. I really would appreciate any help.

Many thanks

Sarah

Hi Jamie,

Yes I would appreciate your solicitors details. It would put my mind at rest before I proceed.

The cost of getting a dog brought down sounds pretty reasonable, especially from Scotland. I live a lot further south.

The car rental I think would be a good idea too.

Thank you Jamie.
