It was the standard state pension that i had sent to spain in euros it worked out just over 8000 per annum. According to the state you can live on that. I would not send any other monies over as it would be taxed on unless i needed it for improvements on the villa. Also that amount would not be taxable in spain.

Thank you, yes the pension you quote is good for me, but my wife doesn’t receive a pension at this time, but has savings in our Spanish bank account, we hope this will suffice, enjoy your life and home in Spain, Peter.
