If yo access the govt website there is a section concerning moving abroad and any exportable benefits to which yo may be entitled, all listed quite clearly, together with information on how to apply.

What a complicated situation. I was finding it hard to follow at times. How did you get to Spain this time? When did you arrive? Where is your friend now? And how did you arrive in your present situation? Is there no one who can drive you/ that you can pay as a Carer?

There are also many charities that you may be able to ask for help from. There is also an age concern in spain that you could contact.
Sorry to hear about your situation. The care (social) system in Spain is not very good as they often expect family to help out. Mind you it is pretty dire in the uk nowadays with all the Tory cuts, especially in welfare benefits over the past 10 years. In fact I had no idea you could draw on benefits from the uk whilst in spain. Now we have Brexit and covid it is even more difficult to deal with. Hope you find your way back to IoW.

thankyou, this time, a best friend drove me but shes exhausted with all thats happened now, se cars so much but going round in circles and talking t cold limited-trained autorities on my behalf has drained her. .  I was involved with social caring as a helper some time ago over a period of years, and the whole support system appears to have been overtaken by admin.  was in a wretched condition last november on te gher  graes of finacial hlp, but now I  have gone down to a at-source-deducted bsic retiremet pension o9o 400 sterling a month, and stuck now iseverely deteriorated even more due to the stressew, in care hospitl in Spain indescibably sad to see the patients suffer and  fearfully regimented in  way I caannot begin to relate. Sorry about the typos.................My body cannot sit up for long.

I presume that you took a calculated risk and, despite your health problems, chose to travel for a short holiday (which wouldn't impact on your beneits) without travel insurance.  Sadly it appears that this has backfired.

I would also caution that, as a UK resident, you are unable to work in Spain without an appropriate visa.  Your idea of running an online estate agency to increase your income is only likely to compound your troubles if this comes to the attention of the authorities.

You need to act now and contact a charity to help you to get back to the UK without any further delay.  Staying and working in Spain illegally is unlikely to work out for you.

Whilst it is kind of people to offer you accommodation, housing someone who is in the country illegally could land them in bother with the authorities themselves.
