I recently purchased an HTW Split Aircon unit from Leroy Merlin. One of the attractions was that it stated on the box WiFi included.
It's installed now and working, but I can find no information in the included manual on how to set up the WiFi control. Has anyone on te forum got one of these units and successfully activated the WiFi control function?

Hi

I don't know for sure, but possibly you need to download an app onto your phone. Do the instructions mention an app?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

An app is definitly required, but there are no instructions provided with the unit on how to put the aircon unit into pairing mode. If its even possible.

Hi

You've mentioned pairing, which implies Bluetooth rather than WiFi. Bluetooth devices invariably(?) go into pairing mode when you power on and keep the on button pressed until the light starts flashing.

If not Bluetooth then try looking at the list of nearby WiFi networks on your phone?

But I'm just guessing coz I've no direct experience.

Cheers

Steve
