Much the same as our coverage with Salus arranged through Alfonso at Grand Alacant Insurance ( see their advert on the Forum Homepage ).

Hopefully we will be moving to Javea old town or port, so i would think a hospital/doctor will be close by.

just waiting for a quote to come back now, one question, do you need seperate dental insurance , or is a 'pay as you go' sort of thing, or is it included in the private health cover.

i see the check up and clean is included, as stated above, but what about treatment, crowns, fillings,extractions etc ?

I can also thoroughly recommend 

Alfonso, he is very good, we have done all of our insurances through

Alfonso. 

Asefa is good. 

Look on rastreator ( compare the money site)

And asefa comes out at around 1509 annually for a couple .

Hi John, we recently paid for private health insurance with Salus which was recommended to us 

We paid €1500 for the year I’m 57 and my wife is 54 it’s cheaoer if your younger 

We are going for our residency February and needed to pay a year up front and get the premium cover as not all cover will get it 

I have to say for what we get it seems to be good value

i've had a few quotes in , Salus, ASSSA are very similar in price,

might get a quote from DKV and one other.

i think the most important think for us will be making sure that there is a local doctor/hospital to Javea that has an english speaking staff member.

i'm going to do a bit more research then sort it out.
