Flying with cat from England to Spain via Amsterdam
Hello everyone.
Hopefully someone can help! We're flying with our cat to Spain later this year and have booked flights with KLM from England to Schiphol, Amsterdam, then keeping airside and flying onto Valencia, Spain.
Has anyone changed flight with a dog or cat in Amsterdam Schiphol and if so:
- Did the Animal Health Certificate get checked in Amsterdam or Spain?
- Did you get your Animal Health Certificate written in Spanish or Dutch?
- Did you have to do anything special or that takes time that we should be aware of in Schiphol airport?
- Was the "point of entry into the EU" classed as Holland or Spain (as we're just transiting airside in Schiphol we don't know if this counts as the point of entry or if that will be Spain when we arrive at the end of our journey)
