A new over night caravan site is being built on the very busy El Pinet Road Cami del Ruïssos without consulting any residence which I’m told is illegal, when we first asked them what they were building they told us a Petanque and children’s facility, they lied. Do we need another caravan park in La Marina, last time caravans parked in nearby area the travellers would walk their dogs and leave the mess all around the area.

It won’t stop illegal parking as wild campers have no intentions of paying, they have already been refused permission in other pats of El Pinet    area, if anyone has any information or would like to join the protest please let us know.

My neighbours and my residence are perfectly legal we have been here since 2002, my casa and neighbouring casa’s been here for at least 50 years, in the past years we have had groups parking in and around El Pinet area illegally causing various problems, unless restrictions are        negotiated, you will see when it’s to late, this will not stop the wild campers, when there was a campsite near the beach you still had wild           campers in fact more than now.

Already done they gave us a the contact details of the departments to appeal too, and the procedure the builders should have taken very helpful and considerate unlike you, they also got the mayor involved.

Have a nice day

Well said Kim, I have to agree there is no reason for camionpilot being so damn rude, if he does not live in the area and was not interested in what Colin was saying then why bother sending a message in the first place, but it takes all sorts.

Colin, do not loose faith with people on this site I have found majority people on this site are ok, they do try to give sound advice

I had the same sort of message sent to me, but I did not bother to reply (The message did not come from this this ExPat site), My attitude to people has always been throughout my 45 years: Why bother reply to people who think it is ok send a rude message, other than a thumbs down  . Mind you having worked 45 years for the same company although different sections (well it was not company really) I have been called so many names during my working life I have heard them all.

Re your post dated Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:33pm which read: "So..did you go to the town hall???"

If you check out Colin's post dated Tue Jul 10, 2018 10:10am, he did say they had already been to the Town Hall, who were very helpful and considerate. The Town hall also gave Colin details of the departments to appeal too and the procedure the builders should have taken, very helpful and considerate and that The Mayor has also been informed.

RayD, I may be wrong, but when you say: "Providing them with a proper parking space would keep them away from the conservation area and allow cars (Really?) What benefit will the car get parking in conservation area?) and visitors to enjoy the beach"  however do you not think your comment sounds a little like:

"I do not want the caravans parked up near my property, so send them on their way, they can find another area to park up and let other residences have the problem?"

Perhaps the following should be suggested to The Mayor,  perhaps a better system would be a Park and Ride system as there is in the UK.
