Hello,   with our first winter in La Marina approaching, after advice on heating a villa.  Some say small gas fired moveable heaters are a 'damp' heat and need open windows to ventilate while our in-house aircon could be expensive. What and where are infra red types about. Any info gratefully accepted.

The recomendation is to open the windows 10 minutes every 4-5hours just to refresh the air.

We bought a Catalytic portable gas fire, used for the winter last year and found it heated the room very quickly didn't smell and our carbon monoxide monitor stayed within safe levels, it's a Camping Gaz one bought from Leroy Merlin wasn't cheap about 130 euro.
