Hello.
I have already got my NIE number, Residencia and Social Security number but are people from other countries allowed to apply for a DNI identity card? Everyone keeps asking me for my NIE but they don't understand that its just a piece of paper.

Hi Jacob,
When people ask for your NIE, you either show them the paper or tell them your number.
you don´t need an identify card, if they ask to see photo ID - you just show them your Passport or driving license.

You can only have a DNI if you're a Spanish citizen.
If you haven't yet got a Spanish driving license, then I suggest you get a notarised copy of your passport to carry with you.
