Hello, does a rental agreement for the padron need to be long term? Have appointment for residency in February and need to be on padron .

I am looking to buy at some point and at the moment am staying at a friends property (no problem there), she lives in the uk, but deeds are still in Fathers name and not been changed to her name. Bills are in her name so wouldn't be accepted in town hall for padron and it so would probably  take too long for solicitors to change it before residency appointment. Help please!

The town hall don't actually state a period for a rental contract, so you'd have to ask them. I recall someone mentioning that there's a town hall rep who visits the urb, and speaks English, but can't remember where or when:

If the father's name is still on the padrón, then that might be enough to just get yourself added to his padrón.
