It is an interesting one that about recording or stamping the passport. Here is a scenario that might get round that, but of course won't apply to everyone.

A Person with Dual nationality and 2 passports (British and Irish for example), could use one for entry and exit into Spain, using passport one and then when returning use the second passport for his other country....

...

So in theory he enters Spain on 02/01/2023 and leaves again for one night on 31/03/23. Comes back again with same passport and leaves again on 30/06/2023. He then stays in the UK for a week and then come back in again, with second passport, stays 3 months, back for a week and then back again to Spain. Leaves again at the end of December and repeats to process again from 2024 onwards.

There may be a glitch in my theory, but I don't see one.

If you have an Irish passport they won’t stamp your passport will they? You can get a TIE very easily as well.

Not sure what the question is? If you have a  Irish passport they won’t stamp it and you can get a TIE very easy. So you can come and go as you want with no restrictions. I am just about to apply for my second and third year NLV. Been living here for one great year.
