Hi all recently received e- mail from Sabadell requesting documentation for my “ economic activity and economic capacity “ has anyone else received this request? Contacted Sabadell for explanation waiting for reply. Does anyone know why Sabadell would be asking for this info? I am not resident in Spain. I do a non-resident tax return every year.
It's not just Sabadell, It's every bank in the EU. Try reading the following post.

Hi Davy, I can see that you are relatively new to the forum but there are many similar posts around this issue and the big bank's charges.
Many of us non residents have opened a Wise account and ditched the Spanish bank.
Use the Wise account for your direct debits, comes with a debit card for everyday usage and spending, no running costs just very small fees when you move money around.
You can withdraw cash at an atm but a little limited, use an alternative for this.
