Brexit has happened. The UK will never rejoin the EU so why not move on

Because as Trussenomics proved, the government can get it wrong, voters can get it wrong and people will eventually vote for change.

As this post from this site evidences, many did not understand the consequences of Brexit…

“I need to stay in Spain longer than 3 months I have a home here , as I cant fly I have to catch the ferry home if I stay say 2 weeks more than my 90 days allowed what could happen , could I possibly get a Visa, or something from my solicitor??? I sure go home on the 28th ferry but I need to travel to Santander first and before that its bank holidays so I was thinking January 12 or something like that “

But some people think it was just about buying their spuds weighed in stones rather than kilos. Sad really.

Hopefully we will join customs union ,personally I've gained nothing , I've lost out big time , and I voted for brexit , it was the lost 3 Tory governments what screwed us all ,

Hi Bencr85,

You're a rare breed - I applaud your honesty.  Whilst of little consolation, you were in a large number of voters who were duped by the lies of the Conservative far-right, but I'm genuinely sorry that it sounds to have had such a negative impact on you.

Kind regards,

Kim
