Can anyone please advise where the area described as "carrefour" area is in Torrevieja. Is assume it's near a carrefour supermarket but there must be a few.

Agents dont always list the area their properties are located online  (we assume its so that you contact them to ask). We see quite a lot of properties in the carrefour area and wonder where that is. Is it south if the N332 road?

Thanks

Craig

My wife and I are coming to La Zenia to check out the area next week. We're thinking about buying a holiday home and have the following areas in mind.

La Zenia

Cabo Roig

Playa Flamenca

Torrvieja (south of the N332 main rd)

We want to be within walking distance of the coast.

We're going to speak to a couple of lawyers and an agent during our stay and are doing lots of reading and property searches online to get a feel for the market.

Any advice regarding areas and any dos' and donts would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Craig

It is still very much a buyers market, depending on how long the property has been on the market. Try and find out how long it has been foe sale. Ask the agent and talk to neighbours. Try a cheeky offer at least 20% less than asking price. Good luck

It's been a busy week but we've decided La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig are the areas for us. We ruled out Torrevieja and many others completely.

Now to find a property.......

Good choice, not too busy, walking distance to beach, boulevard, Cabo and playa flamenca.   Good luck and I know you’ll enjoy.
