Can anyone help with advice on paying Non Residents Tax in the La Zenia area. We bought our property around this time last year and are unsure if we can pay it or if we should go back to the solicitor to handled the purchase for us.

I paid mine recently in Playa Flamenca and bought it last year. You will only pay non-resident tax for the time you bought it until the end of last year. You will be due again to pay full year next year on the day/month of purchase. I paid only 3 euros as I bought mine on the 28th December, 2015. I had VP advisors complete the form and then took it to the bank to pay it. It will be completed overnight and they charge 40 euros as advertised on their site. All other lawyers/advisors I enquired with were extortionate fees some over 100 euros. http://vpadvisers.com/ You will have a copy of the form that you can complete yourself if you have a mind to next year but I prefer to have it done professionally then there are no errors.
