We found this little fella trying to get into the kitchen. Unfortunately he was more frightened of us than we were of him and after a few gentle nudges with a broom handle he disappeared down a drain/soakaway. Unfortunately I doubt he'd of been able to get out. So, I was wondering if anyone can identify what type of snake he was? As you can see from the photo he was probably two feet long.
It's a ladder snake. Not venemous. We get quite a few of them. If he reappears, just put him outside. He won't hurt you.

Maybe you could put something down the drain to help him climb out?
