Are electric bills estimated
Hi. We are with Iberdrola. Does anyone know if bills are estimated?

Some bills may be estimated as they do in the UK but the majority are from readings.
Steve
It will tell you on the bill "real/actual" or "estimado". Unusual to have an estimated one now with smart meters.

If you have the app you can check your actual daily consumption and the online site gives you a forecast of your next bill

Many thanks for all the comments. I checked the latest bill (with help from Google translate of course!)and it is based on actual readings..it seems we are being charged around €30 per month standing charges and tax. Our potencia is rated at 5.5kw. I can also see from the bill there is no usage (when we are away) which is a relief! I’ve tried getting the app, but I believe you have to be located in Spain to be able to download it. Will do this next time I’m over.

We have a three bed detached house with a pool, air-con, all electric cooking, no gas and our electric bills average just under 2 euro a day so about 60e a month. I do check to app on a regular basis especially if we are away

Hi
Standing charges plus tax is the norm here, unfortunately. :((
