For me. I take to my car mechanic ( after over 20 years), he takes my car after his inspection & passes. Find your local taller (happy with!). Remember ( I am lazy). Do the job without financial hassle. I did it once, on my own, no problem. After, did it via my local Garage, sorted. (peace of mind) & not expensive. I just don't like queuing. V

Just been to San Pedro this morning and my wee car passed. Do it yourself and all you’ll have is the charge for the test. If I can do it then anyone can! 😂 If you don’t like queuing then book for 9am. There was two cars in front of me and I was in and out in no time. Booked it all online.
