I am trying to plan a 3 day viewing trip to Los Balcones to view property....but not sure about covid requirements on return to UK. How can I arrange a Covid PCR test in Spain and get the result back if I am only in Spain for 3 days ??? I am double vaccinated in UK, so entry to Spain will be OK, but it's the return journey back to the UK that is my concern.

My friend came for 3 days and took the test at Quiron on the way to my place.

You should only need an antigen test. Result in 20 mins

Hi Graham and welcome to the forum!

Assuming you're flying into Alicante, you can have your return pre-flight test done at the airport:

Kind regards,

Kim

You could bring the fit to fly test with you. A couple of companies in the U.K. offer the service whereby you either video call the test or take a photo of the test along with your passport. They then email test  cert to you. One of the test companies is Co op Chemist. Far easier to do it that way if you’re only here for a short time.
You will still need to order a Day 2 test to take on your return to the U.K. as you’ll need the reference number for this to go on your  return to U.K. locator form.

Hi Graham,

one thing you might want to consider is what happens if you fail your covid test-to-return whilst in Spain. Unlikely but worth thinking about. If you test positive you will not be allowed to fly back to the UK and will have to self-isolate in Spain for around 11 days. It may be worth getting tested just before you leave the UK to make sure you are clear of covid.

Rgds,

Aitch.

Hi Graham

Another option is to book your test in advance online. https://www.vitalicum.es/home.html is close to Los Balconies

Cheers

Steve
