Hi I’m looking to join a running club and am looking for recommendations. I’ve done a little running on my own , but now looking to join a group for extra encouragement and also social scene.

Hi Jules,

I'm also a runner but not in a club although I think it's a great idea for you if you're wanting some like minded people with help, advice and sympathy! Also great for your social life.

There used to be a group called Costa Blanca Runners but not too sure if the still exist. You could try the Club Atletismo Puerto Torrevieja who have a Facebook page, I know there are some British people in there.

Apart from that I can only suggest asking at local Town Hall and gyms.
