Hi Aitch,

I've been trawling the internet for a 1-page graphic that explains the new rules - this is the best I could find, because it includes examples of 'before' and 'after'.  You my want to pack a copy in your suitcase!

Kind regards,

Kim

That’s a great graphic Kim - thank you - we’d been lookfor some definition and visual is best!

We’ve been trying ever so hard to keep to the 30 but it’s sooo difficult, especially with impatient drivers behind!!

Good luck all haha

Hi Pinkshami,

Hubby and I went out this morning, print out of graphic in hand and we found a road with pavement on one side, and houses without pavement on the other side, so we decided that on balance it had to be 20kph - but the 2 cars behind us didn't agree! 🤪😄

Stay safe!

Kim

This hasn't been thought through at all. Most cars will struggle to get out of 3rd gear. Automatics will have a real problem. So up goes your fuel consumption, up goes noise levels and up goes pollution. As much as i hate them, if the Spanish want to get drivers to stop speeding (and some twats a...

...bsolutely FLY up our road), to reduce deaths put up speed cameras. They work and existing speed limits will - mainly - be obeyed.

Absolutely correct but will this apply to cyclists of which on the coast road Calpe to Moraira they often fly at 60km/h. They seem to have no regards for road rules.  I have a dashcam showing that I was slowing down to turn left and the rear traffic also slowed  when out of know where the single biker was on the wrong side overtaking the rear traffic also slowed  and just missed me although I was indicating. thanks for my dual dashcam.
