Hello, hope someone could help us, we need a temporary sip card as we have private health insurance, so that we our registered to get the COVID vaccine at some point. I have spoken to the Centro Medico at Campoamor/Cabo roig and they said they don’t issue them as they are private. Could you please tell us we’re the public health centre is in Campamor so we could get the temporary sip card.

Hi Colin,
I'm not entirely sure but I am in the same boat. Have you tried the Cabo Roig medical centre? White building on the right prior to Campoamor roundabout.

Yes spoke to them today they said you need to use the public health centre in campoamor, not sure we’re this is.

You can register on-line at https://coronavirusregistro.san.gva.es/sipcovid19/registrosinsip?Ianguage=es, found this info in the Costa Blanca People, this weeks paper 2nd-8th March, we managed to get our temp SIP cards no problem.

There was a post on the Torrevieja.com site the other day, saying that Valencia was allowing everyone here access to the vaccination through the state health system. Just need to take your in date passport and EHIC to a local health centre and they’ll issue a temporary SIP card, that’s purely for the vaccination. I registered in Torrevieja last week without any problem. I’ll add screenshots of the post I saw.

It depends why you need a SIP card as to how you apply for a card.
Are you a resident with private health care who needs a temporary SIP card from their local salud for covid vaccinations?
Or are you a resident who wants to register with INSS as you are now eligible for a SIP card via S1 benefits?
Or are you asking how to make an appointment in Alicante because you now qualify to pay for state healthcare (convenio especial)?
The application process for all three as you can see is completely different.
