Thank you for your reply it's nice to be able, to ask questions. We cant wait to move over it's a waiting game now waiting for our house to sell. I feel like I'm in limbo. :)

We know the feeling and are probably in a similar position. We have bought our Monovar place, spent time there and just need to sell the UK house for the final lift-n-shift. The roller-coaster of perpetual preps for viewings isn't fun. 12 viewings so far, so we have reached the point of disengaging from the sale process leaving it to the estate agent who are more than capable, pack our personal items and just go in a few weeks, driving through France with a van, and certainly with the 2 cats.
Assuming that any sale process will take 3 months in the UK, this choice to go now gives us time to sort the paperwork out for the TIEs before the end of year...oh, and see some sunshine. High 30s there on Friday which may be slightly above our melting points, and certainly is unusual but it saves experiencing more of the 'in limbo' feeling!
Keep your spirits up!
We're back in England until September, we're sprucing the place up a bit before renting it out, can't wait to get back, virus permitting.

Thanks so much for your reply. We actually sold our house today, after numerous viewings, so tiring keeping it like no one lives in it lol. Glad it takes 3 months as we can get organised now. You never know we may be neighbours but I dont know the address except it's on a hill near the swimming pool in Monovar :)

Wow, well done Jil, a time to celebrate! That is great news. I don't know where the swimming pool is but there are only a certain number of hill areas around the town so we may well be neighbours.

There are two pools I can think of, there's the sports club on the road to Novelda and the indoor pool near the sports centre, both have hills nearby. We're coming back in September and if there are no further lockdowns we'll resume the meetings at Bar Ole on the first Monday in October.
