In fact the EU is now falling apart. The north is refusing to help the south and now the age-old cracks are showing more than ever with the Coronavirus speeding up the inevitable (since the UK Brexit). The bloc cannot continue in its current form if there are too many takers and only 1 or 2 givers. Personally I think Spain returning to the peseta currency would be a good thing as the euro has never suited southern Europe.

Maybe even go a step further back to the good old days of Franco?

Wasn’t the Paseta introduced in Spain in the late 19th century? and it’s origin long before that? Is Franco that old?
You may have got mixed up, brexit does that to folk.. same way they choose to forget referendum results.

Just saying 😉

Oohhh, now I see. Thought the old ‘selective memory’ trait was slipping in there.

It’s like throwing ‘buns to bears’.... they try not to scoff them all up and sit back and watch..... but eventually the greed gets the better of them and the crumbs begin to fly ! 🎣😂
