Membership Amigos Europeos de Javea Home - European friends (amigoseuropeos.com)

Anyone heard of or using Amigos Europeos de Javea - ? Why would we join, what are the benefits etc? "... a non-profit-making association and all the profits are reinvested in improving resources both as regards material and staff, vehicles… Joining us involves a lot of advantages such as:

- With your identification number you allow us to have your address located and get there quickly.

- We give you free service in emergency situations and 50% rates on arranged transfers.

- Our service is 24 hours and our staff are all Health Transport Technicians.

The annual quota is 60 € and covers for free all the emergencies to any Denia hospital (covers other areas for example Moraira)

My friend who lived here for many years subscribed to them. And said they were excellent. Her only quibble was that they do not permit the service to be used as ‘hospital transport’, ie checkups etc, it’s basically emergencies. We have seriously considered it as we live where if you don’t know the area well, an ambulance may not arrive!
