I freely admit that I smoke, I drink, and I eat too much - all disgusting habits I have to concede.
If there are any smokers of menthol cigarettes on the forum, be aware that these are going to be banned as from May 20th.
If anyone wants proof, I can quote both EU and Spanish law.
As a consequence, I'm going to have to make an 'essential' journey to the tabac!

I've tried vaping but didn't get on with it, but I think that's what I'll have to resort to.
Ordinary cigs give me a sore throat, whereas menthol don't.
I'll also be stocking up on sugar-free mints.
You never know, I might finally be forced into quitting.
I've never understood why supermarkets don't sell cigarettes. I think anyone can apply for a tabac license, and there's even a restaurant near me that has a tabac inside. Perhaps the profit margin is too low for the big guys to want to sell them (?).

Thanks for that. Any recommendation for a user-friendly ecig to buy? Mine's an old one, without a cartomiser, so I have to drip feed it.

Jim, Compared with smokers, people who vape seem to be held in more esteam

I have looked in the vape shop in Almoradí, but just came away confused, so it's really nice to have advice from a user. I'll get an order or orders placed shortly.

In the Republic of Ireland rolling tobacco is also banned from May 20th.

Re: ROLLING TOBACCO Menthol Ban. From 20th May 2020 there will be a ban on the sale of menthol cigarettes. The European Union Revised Tobacco Products Directive (2014/40/EU) makes it an offence for manufacturers to produce menthol cigarettes and retailers to sell menthol cigarettes from 20th May 2020.

Must admit I like strong flavours, but I'm concerned that if I get back a normal sense of taste, then I wouldn't enjoy Islay malts as much!
