Her daughter came out from Scotland before her death, and we were both at the hospital when Margaret passed away. I suppose it's fortunate in some ways that Margaret didn't suffer too long, and that two days before her death she was still talking about when she would be able to come home.
Her daughter has been a massive help to me, and without her support I'm sure I would have cracked up completely.
I will get soon get back into the forum, and hope that those who have expected replies from me will understand why I haven't participated.

I'm so sorry to hear this Jim, a sad and difficult time for you. Our thoughts and good wishes are with you during this difficult time. As you have said most of us had never met your wife or you in person, however your contributions on this forum have been so valuable and helpful to us all and we have always read your contributions with interest and we feel we have got to know you both through this forum.

Dear Jim,
I am so so desperately sorry for your loss and the pain you must suffering. My prayers are with you in this terrible time. I lost my mother to cancer and she was still a young woman. You are in my thoughts and please look after yourself because you are a wonderful human being and I will pray for you.
