Hello, I own a couple of properties in Oliva. My family and I plan on making a permanent move to Oliva in 2025. I have a commercial drivers license from the United States. I know I have heard that Spain doesn't recognize certain licenses (the US being one). The question is... Does anyone know anyone who moved to Spain from the States that was able to transfer their license?

Sorry but the Spanish Department of Transport has the following;

"Citizens of many countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, will have to take the full Spanish driving test to get a Spanish license."

You can drive on your US licence for 6 months with an International Driving Permit which is obtained before your arrival but then have to take a Spanish driving test.

Thank You, I figured that. Too bad.

Agree with the driving licence advice.

One tip - if moving permanently from the US to Spain get your Criminal Record Check certificate just before you relocate as it's needed for immigration submission.
