English- Spanish conversation.

Hi I am a native of Ontinyent in my 50's and I need to improve my English conversation for my job. I would like to find some English native who lives in Ontinyent or nearby to share our conversation. I can teach you Spanish and you can teach me English. I have a good level of English and what I need is to chat regularly with someone in English and receive corrections as well as improve my listening and speaking. I don't need a formal class, it's just a regular friendly meeting to chat and have fun.

I am in my 70's and recently moved to Ontinyent from the United States. I am starting Spanish lessons the middle of September. I think we could help each other. If you are interested, maybe we could meet for coffee.

Hi.

To be honest, if you want to improve your English for a job, I suggest you use Preply and work with an experienced English teacher. Although it's going to cost you, you will improve enormously.

I booked online lessons with a Spanish teacher in Jaén. I was aleady intermediate level when I started but the improvement was dramatic, not just grammar, but confidence. My teacher also gave me lots of reading and writing homework. I took lessons for a year.

This year, I moved to Santa Pola and although I didn't know anyone in Spain I can speak (and write) Spanish in most situations.

Hi Kike, I am a native English speaker. I moved to Spain at the beginning of this year. I now live in Biar, not too far away from Ontinyent. I'm a guy in my 50s, too. I am in a similar situation - I have a lower-intermediate level of Spanish and would like to have an "intercambio de idiomas" scenario whereby I could practise speaking and listening in Spanish and also help out someone who would like to improve their English.

This topic is about language classes in Ontinyent, not about Drs in Benidorm. Start a new topic with your question and then hopefully you will get some replies.

Add whether you have private health insurance or whether you are relying on a EHIC.GHIC card
