Hi, my wife and I and 2 dogs will be arriving in Bilbao in November, ferry arrives in at approx 1pm, and we are  driving to Ciudad Quesada where we are staying for a few months.

Two questions - best route- we have looked at either heading towards Madrid or Zaragoza. Is there a preferred option from these two?

And secondly, recommended pet friendly hotels along the preferred route? We would prefer to drive a maximum of 3 hours on the first leg of the journey.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Take a look at viamichelin route planner - https://www.viamichelin.com/

This will give you alternate routes and approximate journey times to allow you to select hotels at your preferred driving distance. It will also calculate your fuel costs and tolls.

We prefer the Zaragosa route. It's prettier and a lot easier.
