The information is provided in one of Jim's Guides.

Denia are one of the town halls that can do it - there are many that can't, like Torrevieja and Orihuela.

If you have to go to Tráfico, I'd avoid Alicante and go to Elche - much more civilised and easy to park.

But in less than the time it would take to do the return trip, you could get an electronic certificate and do the change online.

Hi Jim

I've been looking at your page about the electronic certificate. I'm just having trouble on how to install it on the lap top.

Autofirma can't be used on its own - it is an extra feature that is needed for some (but not many) procedures.

An electronic certificate on its own is sufficient for most things. Once you've got the 25 digit code from your town hall, Suma office etc, then just follow what my guide says. For Windows and Android you just click on the certificate file you download and follow the prompts. I don't know about Apple, but I'd guess it's the same.

Hi Jim

Do you know if I could get the code from playa flamenca town hall ? And do I just ask for a 25 digit code would they know what it's far ? Sorry for all questions. As I thought I only needed the Autofirma when I read your post. I'm trying not to have to go to Elche or Alicante to sort it. As my spainish is not to good. Thanks Lorraine
