Quite a few bureau de change in your area. Orihuela Costa, La Zenia etc.

Just Google Europound Orihuela Costa or Eurochange and you'll get the addresses.

Get a Wise account and card, load it with money from a Spanish or UK bank then convert it to USD within Wise for virtually nothing, spend with it in the US in USD.

Thanks for responding, yeah we have some near us but just wondered if anyone had used a specific currency place for better rates.

Will check our local place out and keep an eye out for good rates.

Went to America last year, just used my revolut card, cash is a pain with all them 1 dollar bills !!

None are better all are usually 2.5% below market rate as was mentioned top rates are through Wise or similar places

Don't take cash open a Wise account add euro or gbp from your bank account and spend of the Wise card.

The exchange rate is far better the euro exchange or any other bank etc
