Can anyone recommend car insurance, english speaking . We have insurance but when we needed the breakdown assistance it took a long time to get through to a premium number, which isn't cheap, and the agent didn't speak very good English which made the call even longer. Thanks

We are with Línea Directa (Direct Line).
They say you only find out how good an insurance company is, when you need to claim. I had a bump on a roundabout recently. This was our first time of using them since we took out our policy a few years ago. I have to say, they were brilliant. Excellent English, easy and straightforward to claim - all done in one phone call. They arranged the garage for repair and a courtesy car for us .. they even paid for a taxi for us to collect it, as there wasn’t a nearby rental company. Our policy is TPF&T, but we had a nice surprise that included the first claim of the year as fully comp, so we got our scrapes repaired. Definitely worth a look.
