After about 3 days of looking it made an appearance of its own volition. My heart sank s I thought it was a cockroach but on closer inspection saw it was a cricket picked it up and put it in the garden. No more chirping and never had one since.

She played some Buddy Holly songs in the garden 😀
Ear plugs from the Farmacia, they are wax and you need to heat them up in your hands then they mould to your ears. Very comfortable. We live in the Country and the birds sing all day and night. I'm afraid you can't do much about the birds
