Ok,here’s a question for the forum, if one has residency in Spain but arrives in France by car with the intention of driving through. Will the French Border Officials stamp a U.K. passport  with an entry date. ? Or would one just present a Spanish residency card ?

Hi Alan,

As an EU citizen, you should not have your passport stamped.  However, we've heard of several cases where this has happened.  In your example, I would offer my TIE and only produce my passport if specifically asked for it.

Kind regards,

Kim

We gave them both our passport and tie card and they didn't stamp it
