Hola!

Moved to Pego in November with my partner but cannot keep up with him anymore at work (we're both gardeners) so mostly days at home in Pego, while we're looking to buy here. I broke my ankle Sept 2020 and it still hurts so it's slowed me down a lot.

I try to walk daily, but alone it's really a bit sad. We tried with Carles the guide at the Tourist Office and bless him he was so kind but had all the other walkers to take care of, so my slowness has excluded us from walking groups. We know nobody in Pego yet.

If your walking isn't what it used to be but you do want to get out again, why not contact me and we can take walks of half an hour (brisk) and build up from there? Then coffee in Karina or elsewhere? I just need to get out but walking alone is not my thing and we don't have a dog.

Merry Christmas and health and happiness to all.

France

Just a thought, it's not a walk but it's sociable and it's exercise. Do you have transport? My partner attends a zumba class at 9.30am on tuesdays in Absubia, in the old school opposite the GP surgery as you come into the village. The ladies are of all ages and abilities, one is in her late 80s, but they all seem to have a lot of fun. They go for coffee afterwards. If you can walk, you can zumba.

Ooooh, thanks for that! Yes, I have a car. Would set me up nicely for the day.

I am becoming a bit of an anchorite, not a walled-up nun quite yet, but beginning to get there...

Bless you, thanks for the info.

Kind regards. France

Hello.

I have just seen your post. Sorry you are not able to walk far. I miss my walks with my strong dog, due to Vertigo and a bang on the head.

I live in Adsubia, don't drive, but if you can drive here, I would be very happy to walk a little distance with you and to offer you friendship.

All the best,

Linda

Hola Linda,

That sounds lovely. My car is in the garage this week, but it would be lovely to meet you and have a wander around Adsubia. As soon as my mechanic says she's good to go, I'll head over.

Kind regards,

France
