Hi there

We have done everything through our solicitors- Fontanal. Last week we went to exchange our Residencia for TIE card. It was very quiet and we were in and out in 15 minutes. We were advised to do it sooner rather than later as come December everyone will be trying to do it.

Hope it comes right for you

Regards

Joan

Fingers crossed . The quote for my one years health insurance was over £5k - type 2 diabetes

As we say in the north - gobsmacked !

The Padron is a list of permanent residents and the municipality gets so much per person from central funds. Some towns encourage holiday home owners to register to get more money.

Jim Taylor frequently recommends Alfonso at Gran Alacant Insurers. May need to read his guide on Health Insurers if they dont come up on google and others also recommend them, so try them.

Pauline.

Ask Alfonso, as Pauline suggested above. Click his ad on the tight.

It varies due to other factors such as age and BMI (weight to height ratio)

Without any pre existing medical conditions a fairly comprehensive policy for a 57 year old seems to be between £750 / £1,000 per year

If you are diabetic and have a BMI above 32 it is astronomical - over £4,000 per annum !
