Thinking of moving to Costa Blanca Pilar de la Horadada

Hi
I’m looking to relocate to the Costa Blanca
I’m considering Pilar de la Horadada or Villena area.
I love the pine forests of Pilar area.
Has Pilar de la Horadada got a large expat community is it a friendly place to live as I will be on my own and don’t want to be totally isolated.
I would like a property inland with the ability to generate an income with guest quarters to rent. And wonder if this a sensible idea.
What sort of tourist is attracted to the country side? Are there many cyclists that come to the area, walkers or just general holiday makers. Any information would be gratefully received thank you very much :)
