I'm looking for areas around San Javier area that is quite, without disturbing noses from for example airplanes. Could someone that is living in the area give me some advise which places to avoid, and other to focus on? I'm planing to go down to the area a few times during spring, to get a feeling of different areas. There is a risk that I could miss disturbing noises from example airplanes when not being in the area for a long time. Any advice would therefor be highly appreciated.

There is a military air fight training center adjacento the town with an all day activity of low flying. The water of the Mar Menor is unhealthy..

If you do not want airplane noise then avoid San Javier. It is home to pilot training schools and more importantly a military airport. The airport houses the Spanish equivalent to the Red Arrows, so they spend a lot of the time up in the air practising. It’s a great free show, very noisy, but if you’re not into aircraft noise than this area is not for you.  We very often go to That area to have a coffee and watch the planes, they fly so low you can almost see the pilots. The  military aircraft and training schools are out most mornings (in normal pre covid times). You can usually hear them from early morning to siesta time.  We live 30km away from San Javier.airport, but you still hear and see the training planes every day
