we will need to buy a vehicle pretty much straight away.
can any one tell me what paper work we require to do this? and how long it takes from finding vehicle to driving away.

I think you also need a valid Padron cert that has been renewed within the last 3 months.

Would suggest that you may find it easier to hire a vehicle for a couple of weeks or so, it’s not necessarily that expensive to do here, given that sorting all this out is going to take much longer than you think. At least you will then have wheels and won’t feel quite so rushed and pressurised.

Weve got a plan, including hiring a car it was more about the required paperwork, we will get residency first.
